Maine’s largest group gallery offers seven rooms full of art on two floors of a historic home. Works by more than 90 distinguished artists showcase a wide range of subject matter and mediums. Exhibits continue outside with sculpture on the gallery lawns. Open daily.

Located about 5 miles northeast of Cape Porpoise, the gallery offers detailed opaque watercolors of Maine seashells (gathered at nearby Goose Rocks Beach) and mermaids by the author/illustrator of What The Sea Left Behind. A unique vision in a unique setting. Open year-round.

At the Paine Gallery, visitors meet the artist, his wife Evelyn and their miniature dachshunds. found in 1981, the gallery showcases Paine’s original works in oil, egg tempera and watercolor. Limited edition prints also available. Open year-round but call ahead during winter months.
